Clonts marriage to Jennie Foote. Paulding County Marriages, 1834 - 1906 by Jeanette Holland Austin lists a marriage between T.C. Clonts and Jamme Feott on 12/21/1878. I suspect that Jamme Feott is a transciption error or the handwriting is almost unreadable. I found a Jennie A. married to a Robert J. Stewart (widower) of Atlanta who died in 1924 and on her death certificate her father is listed as George W. Foote and her mother is listed as Amanda Greenwood. That is the Jennie that I am looking for - the daughter of George W. and Amanda Greenwood Foote. However, this Jennie Stewart is buried with the Clonts in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta - not with Robert Stewart, so I suspect Jennie was a widow and was buried with her first husband's family. Can't find T.C. Clonts on any census. There is a death notice for a Thomas A. Clonts in Atlanta who was buried Nov. 10, 1897 at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. What was Thomas A.'s wife's name?
