Hi David,
The Annie Clontz Mrs Craigo refers to is Annie Elizabeth Clontz the daughter
of Samuel Clontz who married Wm. Craigo. You have the info. about Samuel but
I thought you might like the names of Wm. and Annie's children.

Dear Mr. Clontz
In response to your query on the Gilmer county web site, I have the
following information. I believe it is from a geneaologic history of
the area in Texas to which John Robert Craigo, grandson of Annie Clontz,
moved in 1900.
Samuel Clontz born 4 Feb 1801 married in 1822 to Sarah (9 Jan 1804 -
1868). Their children were M.A. Clontz (31 May 1823, a baptist
minister), Dock, William P., Samuel A. II, martin L., peggy Jane,
Benjamin P., G. Christian S. (died 1863); Mary L. A. (died 1867),
Milligan C. (died 12 Sept 1947). Sam I married for second time in 1870
to Anna Arminda Kincaid, one son named Rufus.
(I have to say that the dates make me wonder if it was Sam II that
married Anna Arminda.)
The above is in a notebook facing a page on the Clontz (information
below) to whom i am related, so I would think that Annie was a child in
this family, but I wonder why i didn't write it down. As I recall,
Annie was the daughter of either Jake or Sam Clontz. The first Sam was
either from Germany or the son of someone from Germany, by memory.
